Asian Cuisine with BornBroken

Today we are talking to BornBroken regarding their favorite Asian Foods.

They are from the ever so cosmopolitan city of Montreal.

They've also got a new record out. You can preview on BANDCAMP.

For now, let's get down on the egg rolls.

1. We are all brought up eating Chinese Food.

What's your go to order from the Chinese Takeout place?

BB: I donʼt really order Chinese takeout I mostly go to Chinatown and basically try a new
place or some that I really enjoyed before.

2. For basically all of my young life into early adulthood, I never really ate any Far Eastern cuisines apart from Americanized Chinese Food. What was your gateway food?

BB: I also got introduced to the Americanized Chinese food when I was young ordering for the whole family but as a chef I also like to try everything.

3. After having tried it on my 26th birthday, Sushi, and sashimi specifically, has become basically my absolute favorite food. Tell me what you think of Japan's gift to the world.

BB: I really love sushis i donʼt have preferences but I could eat it everyday.

4. Now, a billion people cannot be wrong and that's not including the converts around the world. England, I'm looking at you. Curry.

We're going to be needing a treatise on your attitudes and tastes regarding this Indian delight.

BB:
I use curry in a lot of different recipes but you have to be careful cause the problem with curry is if you put to much all your recipes will pretty much taste the same but a good old curry
turkey stew is delicious haha!

5. Another food my wife kind of got me into was Vietnamese. St. Louis has a great scene here. I'm crazy into the hot pots. What's your favorite?

BB:
Pho soup is my favourite I always need to try it if Iʼm in a Vietnamese restaurant

6. In the end, there's a great world of food on the other side of the world. What's your favorite Asian Cuisine?

BB:
Really love Thaï and Korean food but I love all Asian cuisine all their flavours are orgasmic
haha!
