Foods We Love With Rapheumets Well

It's time to check in with classical metal band, Rapheuments Well. You can check out their single Betrayer HERE.

They like to blend all sorts of styles in together and couple those styles with kick ass face masks. As a former goalie, I can get behind bands wearing masks.

What? Masks are cool.

They just dropped their latest record, The Elder's Anthology via Test Your Metal Records. You can check that stuff out on BANDCAMP.

1. For me, lunch is usually the meal where I don't have to deal with the Napoleon of Food. So it's my favorite meal. What's your best meal of the day?

Supper represent!  Some of us in Rapheumets Well like to fast because we're either lazy or we feel like it is healthy, but when supper comes around, we partake in such a way that makes up for all the missed meals!

LP Review: "Reach For The Sky" by Solitude

Reach For The Sky
Driving home last night, I was listening to the Stuff You Missed In History Class Podcast.

The ever affable hosts were discussing The Piltdown Man. As an avid student of Antrhopology and Human Evolution ever since first seeing the chart of human evolution in National Geographic, this particular episode was of great interest to me.

This was the first time mine ears had heard the phrase, Piltdown Man.

It was a transitional hominid species discovered in Europe with a simian like mandible and human like brain case. Long has the idea of the transitional species fossils been a sticking point for science deniers.

It's as if they are saying, humanity has found every single fossil and species that has ever to have walked the earth, therefore as we don't have these transitional species today, they do not exist.

No one knows quite for sure why, but the Piltdown Man was a total fraud.

Album Review: "The Haruspex" by Gomorrah

The Haruspex
Well, I already used my cyborg story this week.

So, let's do an old fashioned meet and greet.

Gomorrah is from the not so very metal Canadian province of British Columbia, Kelowna to be exact.

I wonder if they are Kelowna Rockets fans?

Originally started this modern death metal duo of Jeff Bryan and Bowen Matheson began life as a black metal duo. I think that my personal tastes regarding black metal are well documented, so this will just be mentally noted as a good change.

The Haruspex is Gomorrah's fourth released, but only their second full length. They've certainly been around the block and played with some big bands and some nice festivals, but let's see what their new work is all about....
