Welcome back to Glacially Musical, I suppose.
It's been a minute and due to some personal stuff, it was time for me to take a short break and now I'm back on the stick and ready to bring you more of the inanity that you've come to tolerate.
Today we're talking Classic Spins with an Alterna-Rock-no Band from Stamford, CT.
It's rare that we discuss anything with Connecticut Yankees, but we relish the opportunity to do so and without further ado..
HOSEMAN!
Just a bit more ADO...You can snack on their newest album over BANDCAMP.
1. My favorite kind of album is the concept album. The Wall is my absolute favorite. Beyond the amazing songs, it has spectacular nostalgia for me. What's your favorite one and why?
I do love Pink Floyd's Wall. I never really embraced the concept album much, to be honest. I did love Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime.
The songs were so good and they touched upon a lot of issues that are very relevant in todays society.
2. My very first album was Live Evil b Black Sabbath. Since then I've had a strong affinity for the live record, even if they're a bit fake. KISS set the bar with Alive!. Surely, it was fake, but it's got the best concert feel of any one.

Tell me about your favorite live record?
See, I love KISS Alive and KISS Alive II. I was so mesmerized by those album's when I was a kid. But, I have to say that my favorite live album is, Tokyo Tapes by the Scorpions.
That live album sends shivers up my spine. The songs, the guitar work by Uli Jon Roth and the overall production is insane!!!!
I am sure some of it is fake too. Oh well, great nonetheless.
3. There are a great number of records I've turned to for my moods. What do you listen to when you're angry? Sad?
When I am angry or just feel like I need to hear something aggressive, I will listen to Helmet's " In the Meantime " or Metallica's " Kill em All."
If I want to chill, I like to listen to Radiohead's " In Rainbows " or Miles Davis " Bitches Brew ". If I am sad, it is defiantly the Cure's " Disintegration " , just amazing songwriting in it's purest form...
4. One of my friends laughs at me, routinely, for loving the Misfit Toys of albums by major bands. Lulu by Metallica and Lou Reed, Carnival of Souls by Kiss, Diabolous En Musica by Slayer, etc.
What's the strange one that you love?
I love what Johnny Cash did with that album he did of covers. Especially the NIN cover of Hurt and Soundgarden's Rusty cage..
Very cool and different!!!
5. It's almost fashionable to release live versions of albums or re-record the old ones. King Diamond is releasing a concert with Abigail front to back. Roger Waters has done The Wall twice. Which ones do you have in your collection?
Again, I will be honest, I do not have anything like that in my collection.
