Kriss: I guess like most of the people I started watching “loony tunes” and other WB cartoons anyway as a kid I watched whole bunch of animation so I can't tell exactly where it starts ...

You know, as an American, sometimes I forget that there's life all around the globe because we're continuously fed about how America is the best, the alpha, and the omega. Honestly?

That's art of why I do these columns. Because I want to hear about what's going on in other parts of the world. 

Today we get to learn some more about Malsten from Sweden.

1. From a very early age, I gravitated towards anime. I never knew Speed Racer was anything other than just another cartoon.

What is the first one you watched that really shaped your tastes for years to come?

 Stefan: I am of that age when cartoons were hardly shown at all apart from Disney or some crappy things occasionally. Fortunately, at the same time as I learnt how to read, Sweden was totally flooded with horror comic books and magazines.

There's literally nothing in this world better than amazing records. When you have this sort of worldview, life makes much more sense, it's easier to deal with the crippling pandemic that's keeping us all inside.

1. Listening to Black Sabbath's eponymous debut the night I got it blew me away. What's the album that sounds the best on vinyl compared to digital sources?

Dima: All the stuff before 90’s. 70’s sound the best on vinyl. Doesn’t matter what genre.

We also have four pets, but we have 2 dogs and 2 cats. We have Thor, Buddy, Jadzia Dax, and Kira.

Well, I'd be willing to bet that our new friends from Germany, Giants, Dwarfs, and Black Holes might give you a run for your money.

That has nothing to do with this and I'm sorry I even brought it up, but most of my newer shows are on hiatus, so, back to Bender baby and he does love a challenge.

So, this band, Starcrazy, is glam + RUSH...

1. There is nothing more awkward than sophomore year of high school. Tell me about your circle of friends.

Well in Australia we don't have "sophomore" year, we just have Primary School and High School.

Today, we have somewhat of a first, Nicarus, is from Israel and she's going to give us a look back at how she was in high school.

1. There is nothing more awkward than sophomore year of high school. 

Tell me about your circle of friends.

In high school I was mainly hanging with the boys, they were fun, it was in fashion to wear black long leather  coats back then and listen to Marilyn Manson.

I had red dreadlocks and very strange outlook, you couldn't miss me, we were a bunch of weirdos and freaks compare to the rest, we used to skip class and just chill and make stupid jokes.

There are times when we need those signposts that remind of us of the past. They're best when they come from someone not from the past.

So then we're staring into the future past, or the past present, or the third thing the X-Men did.

What is the first one you watched that really shaped your tastes for years to come?

Mick Michaels: Early on, Speed Racer was definitely one of my favorites as kid in the 70s. From there I moved to Star Blazers and Battle of the Planets. 

But I had also always been a big fan of Bugs Bunny, Flintstones, Popeye, Scooby Doo and that whole crew...definitely the classics. 

Saturday morning cartoons were also a favourite of mine, but what kid did not love Saturday morning cartoons...Super Friends, the whole Hanna-Barbera world.

Well, to start we have two cats and a snake. Our two cats are called Nikki and Pat and the snake is called Madusa.

I think the first one I can remember is Masters of the Universe. There was just something about it that captured my young mind.

I was known and well-liked by all of the different crowds in high school but never fit in any.  Hung out with a small group of outsiders who were cool people at the time.  I was very introverted but got on quite well socially also.
