Again, they're back. It's my personal favorite off the wall...uhh... (unnamed genre) duo: NØMADS.

In their attempts to keep the music flowing, we're able to bring you their latest single, XENOPHØBIA.

There should be not one American person requiring a definition of this phobia right now. We're showing the world that we know all too well what xenophobia is.

Through the magic of the intertubes, we look back in on New York's own NØMADS...except they're not in New York!

Through magic of the automobile, presumably, they're in Pittsburgh! Do they live there now?

Are they just giving us a miss? 

Well, while we get our staff private detective to check into this, you should check into the latest video off of one of their upcoming EPs. Sorry, but this was an album and now it's broken up into two EPs and I can't keep them straight.

Perhaps the vinyl versions will fix that for me!

My personal favorite duo of hobos is back at it again with their latest single, THASSOPHOBIA.

NØMADS has been releasing a single each month all year leading up to the release of their sophomore album, but that album has undergone a Spiderman/Venom transmogrification and now it's going to be a pair of EPs instead of one LP.

That gives us plenty to look forward to. In the meantime, enjoy the latest single below and see what there is to see, in Pittsburgh apparently.

After hearing single after single...I need more information as to when these releases are gonna drop.

It's impossible for me to not share this with you. NØMADS are on a crusade to release every song on their upcoming album via video ahead of its release. It's hard to not be excited.

Here's their latest which is about fearing ghosts. Their upcoming record is chock full of tracks about all sorts of phobias.

It should do us well really....right?

They're currently six months into a year long project where they'll be releasing a single each month. By the time it's released, hopefully on glorious vinyl but  not on red like Free My Animal, you'll have had all the tracks at your finger tips.

Every song of theirs will be available to go straight into your earholes and worm their way into your brains.

It's been quite awhile since we've heard anything out of the NØMADS camp. That makes this particular release a welcome respite from the not wacky music.

They're releasing single after single leading up to their 2018 vinyl release of PHØBIAC.

"Free My Animal" by NØMADS

NØMADS are a noise rock duo featuring Nathan Lithgow and Garth Macaleavey, both of whom are  familiar names in modern rock circles.

This venture though, I would wager that nothing they've done previously really compares to this music. (If this is wrong, please let me know because this is the internet after all.) Referring to this duo as a noise rock group though seems so, well ill fitting, but that'll be explained in a bit.

Most of the duos, that are so in vogue these days, thank you Black Keys and White Stripes, consist of a guitarist/vocalist and drummer. Then other little bits are added here and there for color.

Granted there's the James Leg/Black Diamond Heavies thing where the singer is holding a piano, but he overdrives it so much, off track. Off track. Here is where the NØMADS live up to their name by veering off the well worn path. Instead of an electric guitar playing the music, it's an electric bass. Cliff Burton fans rejoice, this album is for you.
