It's been a little while and they've sent out a carrier pigeon featuring this song. You can stream it below and buy it HERE.

Video: "Pressure" by Quiet Hollers

There are just a few things in this world that will always make this blogger happy and one of them just happens to be Quiet Hollers. Their infectious music and humor never fails to put me in a good mood, or make me cry.

Like you know, whatever?

Also, professional wrestling is something that'll never fully leave my soul. So, in the meantime, watch Quiet Hollers get in the ring.

You can also ask them on Facebook where the vinyl is?

LP Review: "Amen Breaks" by Quiet Hollers

Amen Breaks
As far as I'm concerned, my love the Quiet Hollers has never been remotely a secret.

Their eponymous album is still one of the biggest bright spots of 2015 and it's subsequent vinyl pressing (complete with black splatter on clear coloring) was also a bright spot of 2016.

Our friends from Kentucky stopped in at the Heavy Anchor in December of 2015, and we were able to celebrate our sixth wedding anniversary while they played some amazing songs.

The only dark cloud was that their vinyl had been pushed back so I wasn't able to go home with it that evening. The full house they had though warmed the cockles of my heart. It's awesome to see a band succeeding in this day and age.

In this modern age, there are far too many instances of a band, though of quality, being chewed up and spat out because they weren't able to make a financial go of it.

Video: "St. Valentine's Boys" by Quiet Hollers

It was fully my intention to get this video out to you last week, but sickness sapped out all of my productivity.

Their new record is out on July 7th and the full review is coming later this month. Until then, check out their latest track!

Don't forget to check out their pix on Facebook.

Stream: "Medicine" by Quiet Hollers

One of the best surprises of 2015 for me was The Quiet Hollers. Their brand of open ended pop coupled with modernized "down home" instruments was just one of my favorite albums of that year and yes, the vinyl sits proudly on my shelf.

This year, they're back with Amen Breaks releasing on July 7th. Check back for the full review down the road, but in the meantime, check out the first single Medicine.

Holler at them on Facebook!

Album Review: Self Titled by Quiet Hollers

Quiet Hollers
I remember seeing an online post by some anonymous people on the net giving their top ten lists for the end of the year, probably around 2010-ish.

It was very hard for me to believe that these people had acquired enough albums to people an entire list for a top ten, much less the ones that didn't make it.

Good lord, how little I knew then.

If I had to guess, I'd wager there are more albums being produced today than in music's "heyday." Even being the small fry that I am, I am constantly deluged by managers, labels, PR,c ompanies, bands, and friends of bands to check out their music. (This is not a complaint. Don't stop!) What's hard is how in the world do I start?

I try to bring you the best music that comes across my desk, and sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail. So today, I bring you a press photo with a band bend on worldwide destruction in the Pacific Rim.
