Pandemic Dispatches with BADGUYSWIN

Let out your scream of rage and denial. There are people in the USA still not taking this pandemic seriously. This is even when they've lost people to the virus.

Mask UP.

Check out this VIDEO from BADGUYSWIN and see how they're dealing.

1. How are things going where you are? The laws and such.

We live in small-town Canada, so things haven't changed much for us.

There are social distancing precautions in stores, many restaurants are take out only and the parks are closed. On top of some businesses choosing to temporarily close or work at reduced hours, major events that fuel the town's economy have also been cancelled.

2. How long have you been sheltering in place at this time?

We have been sheltering in place since approximately the end of March.  It's hard to remember exactly when time goes by slowly when you have nowhere to go.

3. What has been cancelled on you that you were looking forward to?

We had just released our new debut album "Cowards" around the time that lockdown rules began being put in place, so our was understandably put on hold for the time being. We were definitely looking forwards to showcasing our music in a live forum.

4. How have you been passing the time indoors?

Since we can't promote our music through live events, we have been exploring online options that we hadn't really looked at before.

Beyond that, we have started writing the next album and have been perfecting "Cowards" so we can really wow people when our tour is given the green light.

5. Loads of artists have been talking about how they're being creative. When the lockdown is over are ya gonna be ready to hit up the studio?

Perhaps. We will most likely focus on promoting our debut album and touring first since all our plans got squashed right after it released. We won't be far off from being ready to hit the studio.

6. What crazy projects have you been considering since you've been in quarantine?

We have been playing with the idea of working on an acoustic set. Not only that, but we have been looking into doing live streams of the acoustic sets.

It's not that crazy on the surface but since our last band was all heavy metal, it's a new realm for us and something we normally wouldn't have considered under typical circumstances.
