Pandemic Dispatches with Saints of Death

About three weeks ago, our new British Columbian friends, Saints of Death, released a ripping new record called Ascend To The Throne which you should be stuffing into your earhole right now.

Get that going while you're reading about how the boys in Vancouver are holding up during this global pandemic.

1. How are things going where you are? The laws and such.

We're pretty fortunate being from BC.

Although we've been in quarantine like the rest of the world, BC has done a pretty good job of dealing with it compared to the other regions of our country. We just can't wait to get back to rehearsing, touring, and writing.

2. How long have you been sheltering in place at this time?

We've been in quarantine for three months. We're spending time with our loved ones and focusing and staying safe.

3. What has been cancelled on you that you were looking forward to?

We had a bunch of things lined up in Mexico through HeadRattle Productions like the FMA festival among others.

We also had some national touring and festivals like Sludge on the Swamp fest in BC cancelled as well.

4. How have you been passing the time indoors?

Netflix, Practicing our instruments, playing with wrestling action figures and mixing pre pro tracks, and working on the release of our new album "Ascend to the Throne" available on all streaming platforms July 10th, 2020.

We've also being using this as an opportunity to start jamming online and using today's technology to our advantage.

5. Loads of artists have been talking about how they're being creative. When the lockdown is over are ya gonna be ready to hit up the studio?

We are just releasing our new record "Ascend to the Throne" now . We do most of the music videos and lyric videos in house.

As well, we've been writing new songs for our next album the whole time. We're almost halfway done writing a new album and still need to tour on our July 2020 release.

6. What crazy projects have you been considering since you've been in quarantine?

We've been considering rehearsing over the internet. We've been considering filming live performances and broadcasting them to our fans, while live performances are still in limbo.

Our management in Mexico even suggested making face shields with our individual face paint designs. We've had lots of ideas, but realistically we just can't wait to get on stage and perform for our fans.
