Taco Tuesday with Widow's Peak

When you're the kind of person that listens to all the doom metal and stoner rock you can find, technical death metal often times has a relentless assault that's just the right kind of jalapeno in the nacho sauce.

With that said, let's find out how Widow's Peak are eating their tacos!

Should you need a soundtrack for this column though, check out their debut EP on Bandcamp and you can even buy it with loonies and twonies.

2 Loonies and 1 Twonie, or 2 Twonies and one Loonie will get the job done.

1. Everybody loves Taco Tuesday, but what's the best time to eat tacos for you and how many tacos do you put back in a standard sitting?

The best time is when you're hungover because you sweat out the hangover. It's a Mexican glitch. I don't count, but I'd say at least 8. Maybe more.

2. Describe your perfect taco plate.

A  meat combination with pineapples, spicy, different kinds of spicy. At least 3 layers of different kinds of spicy. Lime, and various vegetables.

3. What is your beverage of choice when it comes to Mexican food?

That's a good question... That's a hard one because it's an "in the moment thing."

Y'know, if it's spicy... you don't really wanna drink anything while you're eating that shit because the pain is like... double pain.

If you're really hungover, you gotta drink a beer. I don't know, I'm Chilean, not Mexican.

4. My personal favorite Mexican dish is Camaron a la Diabla. It's this extraordinarily hot shrimp dish. Comes with tacos, beans, and tortillas. What's yours?

Embueltos. It's a fried tortilla wrapped with chicken, dipped in a spicy green sauce.

5. Describe the feeling of regret you get after your carne asada arrives and you realize your belly is full of those delicious chips and salsa.

You don't, you keep eating! As long as there's food, you don't stop.

6. If you could only eat tacos, burritos, or chimichangas forever, which one and why?

That's a hard one. They're all fucking good. I'd say burritos because they're a wrapped food surprise.

You don't know what you're getting exactly, but it's delicious.
