Taco Grande with Striker's Tim Brown

Everybody loves guitar shreds right?

Well, surely then you're aware of Canadian metal giants, Striker? They were up for a Juno Award, just like Jay Mewes.

In between their shredding of their guitars, sometimes Tim Brown takes some time to eat some shredded beef and cheese...

Sometimes known as the taco.

Get to CD Baby to pick up their latest CD...

And now..

TACOS!

1. Everybody loves Taco Tuesday, but what's the best time to eat tacos for you and how many tacos do you put back in a standard sitting.

Best time to eat tacos is after soundcheck. The appetizer is shredding guitar, and the dessert is tacos. You don't want to eat too close to your showtime since it can slow you down...

But eating right after soundcheck is perfect timing. Usually, I try to eat as many tacos as possible, usually equal in weight to a newborn baby.

2. Describe your perfect taco plate.

Soft corn tortilla shells, straight from Mexico, with some onions, tomatoes, salsa, and lime as the garnish.

As for filling, there's so many to choose from and they are all so good! Pork, beef, chicken, veg, it's all good.

3. What is your beverage of choice when it comes to Mexican food?

Definitely need a beer to go with the tacos!

4. My personal favorite Mexican dish is Camaron a la Diabla. It's this extraordinarily hot shrimp dish. Comes with tacos, beans, and tortillas. What's yours?

I like it all! We did a tour of Mexico a few years ago and I just could not eat enough tacos though. Random street meat tacos in Mexico are amazing anywhere you go.

5. Describe the feeling of regret you get after your carne asada arrives and you realize your belly is full of those delicious chips and salsa.

My only regret would be there should have been beer in my belly too!

Also, my stomach is a black hole for tacos, it can't be filled, so I could still eat more food.

6. If you could only eat tacos, burritos, or chimichangas forever, which one and why?

Burritos. They are less messy, easy to transport, and easy to make. Plus I try to eat Chipotle as often as possible when we are in the USA!
